  • Valka gymnasium Founded in 1920 as a secondary school of Valka town
  • 1921 – Valka State gymnasium
  • 1929 – 1931 – the present building was constructed Janis Cimze gymnasium
  • Valka Secondary School No 1 from 1955
  • Valka gymnasium from July 7 2003
  • Sport hall from November 7 2003
